Burlington's lakefront maples, escarpment woodlots and mature street trees need expert care, especially after an ice storm or windstorm splits a limb over your house or car. Toronto Tree Trimming has served Burlington and the surrounding area since 2015, bringing ISA Certified Arborists to every job in the L7R 2G4 postal code and beyond.
Whether you need a cedar hedge trimmed along your property line, an ash tree removed before emerald ash borer spreads further, or emergency cleanup after a storm, our licensed crews handle the work safely and leave your site clean. We know Burlington's terrain: ravine lots with steep access, tight backyards reachable only through a standard gate, and the mix of silver maple, oak, birch and Norway spruce that define the neighbourhood. Call us at (437) 600-1089 for a free estimate, or read on to learn how we work.
Our expertise in Burlington, L7R 2G4
Burlington sits between the lake and the escarpment, with a canopy of mature trees that demand skilled attention. We specialise in the species you find here: silver and sugar maple, red and white oak, birch, Norway spruce, and the cedar hedges that line nearly every property boundary. Many of these trees are decades old, rooted in Southern Ontario clay and clay loam, and vulnerable to the freeze-thaw cycles that crack limbs in winter and the windstorms that topple weakened trunks in summer.
Emerald ash borer has killed ash trees across Burlington and the GTA. We detect the pest early, treat trees before they decline, and remove those that are already brittle and unsafe to climb. We also work frequently on ravine lots, where steep terrain and limited access require licensed crews and proper equipment. Since 2015, we have trimmed hedges on Aldershot properties, removed storm-damaged limbs from post-war subdivisions, and navigated the tight backyards that are common in older neighbourhoods. We hold the certifications and insurance that the work demands, and we respect the City of Burlington's permitting rules for removals that may affect the public realm.

How we work on your Burlington property
We start with a free estimate. You describe the job, we visit your site, assess the tree or hedge, note any obstacles (power lines, fences, neighbouring structures), and outline the work and cost. For removals, we determine whether a City of Toronto permit is needed and, if so, we support the application with an arborist report at a transparent fee.
On the day of work, our crews arrive with the right equipment for your terrain. In tight backyards, we use hand tools and smaller machinery. For larger jobs, we bring chippers, stump grinders and debris removal trucks. We work safely around hydro lines, respecting approach distances to your private service entrance and never touching Toronto Hydro or Hydro One distribution lines. We chip or remove all brush, haul away logs, and sweep the site so you see no trace of the work.
If you need an arborist report for a permit application or a risk assessment of a declining tree, we provide that too. Our reports are detailed and accepted by the City of Toronto.
Pricing depends on the size of the tree, its location on your property, the complexity of access and whether the job is urgent. Tree trimming starts from $275, tree pruning from $250, and stump grinding from $125. Hedge and cedar hedge trimming runs from $60, and branch removal and cleanup from $85. Larger jobs such as full tree removal, land clearing or emergency storm response are quoted individually because each site is different. We offer free estimates by phone at (437) 600-1089 or by site visit, and we can often arrange work within 24 to 48 hours for non-emergency jobs. Emergency removal is available 24/7, especially after ice storms or summer windstorms when fallen limbs are a safety hazard.
